Mr & Mrs Sutton wanted to expand their home with a new rear extension. To improve their home, they sought a dedicated dining and kitchen space; one that connected effortlessly with the garden while feeling bright and inviting all year round.
Our Architectural Designers planning and built a single-storey extension that flows naturally from the main kitchen area. Adding full-width bifold doors opening directly onto the garden patio, the garden and dining space flow easily. A large picture window set into the roof’s apex acts as a dramatic focal point and floods the space with natural light. To enhance brightness even further, we installed Velux skylights along the pitched ceiling, ensuring sunlight could pour in throughout the day.
This space is used for year-round for dining and entertaining, so discreet air conditioning units were essential to offer efficient heating and cooling at the touch of a button. The neutral palette is enhanced with the customers choice of a bold red accent wall. Flooring throughout the kitchen and dining spaces maintain a strong connection between the zones, making the entire space feel unified and purposeful.
