While the our customers’ extension already existed, it needed significant improvement to meet the needs of their growing family. Our team made subtle but impactful changes, improving insulation, light flow, and layout without major rebuilding.
We began by upgrading the extension’s structure, installing a new cavity wall with high-performance insulation, a damp-proof membrane, and foundations tailored to the existing building. We replaced the kitchen ceiling with fresh overboarding and plasterwork for a smooth, modern finish. The old patio doors were swapped for a large sliding glass unit, enhancing garden views and daylight levels.
To ensure the space stayed warm and welcoming year-round, we added insulation within the mono-pitched roof and a sleek designer radiator from DQ Heating. Plumbing and electrical services were updated, including light points, power outlets, and mechanical ventilation in the new utility.
