Mr and Mrs Brewin approached us to transform their kitchen into a more modern and practical space that would also feel refined and well-balanced. Set within a block of flats in Bramhall, the project came with some unique considerations. Our team ensured careful planning around access and noise, with special attention paid to minimising disruption for neighbouring residents.
For the design, they selected a Beckermann kitchen from the Lima range, opting for cabinetry in a soft Perlgrau tone, contrasted with graphite detailing for a clean, architectural finish. The graphite handles and carcass interiors added depth and definition, giving the room a sense of cohesion without overwhelming the space. This colour palette was carried through the plinths and edging to create a seamless look.
To bring contrast and drama to the kitchen, the couple chose a black marble-effect laminate worktop with a matching front edge. We installed full-height grey mirror splashbacks, which reflect light beautifully and subtly expand the feeling of space—particularly helpful in apartment settings.
State-of-the-art Neff appliances were integrated throughout, including a single oven, microwave combi, induction hob, and extractor. The tall fridge freezer, dishwasher, and washer dryer were all built-in, creating a sleek and uninterrupted run of cabinetry. A Blanco stainless steel sink was paired with a chrome Camia tap and an under-sink waste disposal unit, offering a polished and highly functional finish.
Lighting played a key role in bringing warmth and usability to the space. We installed recessed LED downlights throughout the kitchen, along with under-cabinet lighting to highlight worktops and make food preparation more comfortable. Satin chrome sockets with grey inserts were chosen for a subtle but premium detail.
To complete the transformation, we laid Amtico Spacia flooring in Villa Concrete. Its gentle industrial tone brought character and practicality to the space, tying everything together in a finish that feels both grounded and refined.
The result is a carefully executed kitchen renovation that delivers on both form and function, tailored to the lifestyle of the homeowners and thoughtfully designed for apartment living.
