An eagerness for home improvement led our client Ian to contact us after hanging onto our brochure for four years. Ian’s top priorities were a modern kitchen and a spacious garage to replace his unusable detached one.
We initially proposed a sizable kitchen extension, but through collaborative discussions, we refined the design to a more modest yet functional layout within the existing kitchen footprint. A single-story side extension provided the large garage he desired, along with a convenient utility room connected to his Beckermann kitchen.
This project exemplifies how prioritising client needs and working together can lead to successful renovations, even though Ian’s initial vision required substantial creative changes and re-optimising the space.
In a way I enjoyed the whole experience of the project. I liked to think I got involved and also learned a lot. I made over fifty friends and at times I felt I was one of your team!
A special mention must go to Lee, Paul the Plasterer, Nick, Joe the Electrician, Connor and Paul the Roofer. Also, Steve, Joseph and the wonderful Millie, who was the main reason I started this project in the first place.
