Two Bathroom Renovations, One Cohesive Vision
As part of a full home transformation, Mrs Massey wanted her bathroom renovations to feel just as thoughtfully designed as the main living areas—no afterthoughts, no shortcuts.
Her brief was clear: both the family bathroom and new downstairs WC should feel serene, elegant, and easy to use, with a thread of continuity running through them. They needed to be practical, of course, but also enjoyable places to spend time in, reflecting the wider tone of her newly reconfigured home.
By carefully selecting finishes that echoed the kitchen design and layering in soft textures, gentle lighting, and subtle touches of luxury, we created two very different spaces that still felt connected. The customer added her own touches throughout such as leafy wallpaper to make it feel like her own.
Here’s how we reimagined both bathrooms, balancing timeless design with daily comfort.
The Downstairs Bathroom Renovation
Tucked into the footprint of the new side extension, the downstairs WC became a stylish convenience space. Here, we used Porcelanosa Indic tiles laid landscape for texture and elegance, paired with Keuco Elegance accessories and a Villeroy & Boch wall-hung WC. A chrome towel radiator and Keuco chrome tap added polish, while a striking leafy-print wallpaper gave the room personality.
We also built a low stud wall to form a shelf behind the basin and concealed the pipework for a sleek finish. Subtle recessed downlights and satin chrome switches added a contemporary flourish, making this WC both practical and welcoming for guests.
The Main Bathroom
Upstairs, we continued the design language with matching Porcelanosa tiles, a soft grey Villeroy & Boch vanity unit, and a quadrant shower enclosure with a smart Aqualisa shower system. A Keuco Collection Moll chrome basin tap and multiple towel hooks and holders offered hotel-level refinement. The full-height tiling with stainless steel trim and floor tiles in coordinating tones provided durability with a spa-like aesthetic.
