A Refined Finish
Large format tiles from Villeroy & Boch were chosen to give the room a cohesive, high-end feel. The walls are fully tiled in Marmochic Essential White gloss, while the floor features Marmochic Dark Illusion matt tiles. With a marble effect, the room is immediately made more modern yet timeless.
The shower area centres around a Fiora Silex extra-flat wet room tray with a seamless, smooth join from floor to tray. This paired with a Kudos glass panel and foldaway deflector and corner grab rail improves safety and functionality without compromising on style.
Sanitaryware from the Villeroy & Boch Subway 3.0 collection adds a clean, contemporary edge. The wall-hung vanity unit in Graphite, with double deep drawers, introduces practical storage without adding visual weight. Above it, a Keuco Royal Lumos mirrored cabinet with integrated mirror heating provides both storage and everyday convenience with hidden features such as multiple lighting options, electrical charge and multi-way mirrors.
Comfort Built In
Beyond aesthetics, comfort was carefully considered. Electric underfloor heating was installed beneath the tiles, controlled by a digital thermostat for consistent, controllable warmth. An anthracite Vogue Focus heated towel rail provides additional heat and a striking design feature against the tiled walls. Throughout, the lighting was upgraded to include six recessed LED downlights in chrome, creating an even, flattering light across the space.
Thoughtful Details That Make The Difference
Having previously had a tall, built in storage cupboard, Mr & Mrs Barker wanted the same again. We fitted a Daval Roma tall unit in Dove Grey Nature, from floor to ceiling height. and smart internal configuration with shelves and dividing panels, to keep the room uncluttered and organised.
A carefully selected range of Keuco accessories including towel rings, shower shelving and supportive features within the showering area complete the space. These details may seem small, but together they give the bathroom a cohesive, well-considered finish.
A Fully Managed Transformation
As with all Adamsons projects, the focus was not only on the final result but on delivering the renovation in a structured, low-stress way. From demolition through to final installation, all plumbing, electrical works, heating, tiling and finishing were coordinated by our in-house teams. Surfaces were made good, disturbed areas carefully repaired and the room handed back complete and ready to use.
A Bathroom Designed to Last
The finished bathroom feels calm, spacious and modern. Large-format tiles, concealed storage and a streamlined wet room layout create a space that is both practical and quietly luxurious. More than just an aesthetic upgrade, this renovation delivers improved comfort, better flow and long-term performance a high-quality bathroom designed to work beautifully every day.
