Mr & Mrs Porter wanted a space that brought more light into their home and gave them a warm, welcoming area to relax throughout the day. Our solution was a thoughtfully designed rear extension, wrapped in windows and finished with French doors and Velux skylights to maximise daylight at every angle.

This sun-drenched snug is now the perfect spot to unwind with a coffee, read a book, or enjoy a catch-up with friends. The floorplan creates a fluid connection to the rest of the home while still feeling like its own defined retreat.

Careful attention was given to the balance of glazing and solid wall space to ensure year-round comfort, with energy efficiency and light levels considered at every stage of the build. The result is a stylish yet simple extension that not only adds value, but transforms the feel of the entire ground floor.
