For this project, Mr and Mrs Turpin wanted more than just additional square footage, they were after a lifestyle upgrade. To create their home of their dreams, our team delivered a rear house extension in Davenham that connects effortlessly with the garden, offering a space where cooking, relaxing, and entertaining can all happen under one roof.
The new structure has completely transformed the ground floor layout of this home, opening up a generous living area that doubles as a social hub. Floor-to-ceiling bifold doors stretch across the rear wall, creating a fluid connection between inside and out, and allowing light to pour into the home. In addition to expanding their existing kitchen, Mr & Mrs Turpin have also added a new sitting area with views across the garden. It’s a perfect secondary relaxation space for social moments. While one person cooks, another can be relaxing on the sofa.
Beyond the kitchen space, this house extension has created numerous new spaces. In addition to the ground floor, the Turpin’s also extended upstairs to create two new bathrooms and an additional bedroom, ideal for welcoming guests in to their home.
