Transformative Garage Conversion - Glossop

We began by removing the original garage door and constructing a solid brick cavity wall that matched the home’s existing exterior. This detail was crucial in ensuring the conversion didn’t feel like an add-on, but a seamless architectural extension. Inside, we introduced high-performance insulation, a damp-proof membrane, and all the comforts needed to make the space liveable and energy-efficient year-round.

The conversion also included several structural alterations to enhance the flow of the home. We removed part of the dividing wall between the existing kitchen and dining area to improve connectivity, and an old window was replaced with new French doors which flood the room with natural light.

To further boost comfort and performance, we installed a new Valiant condensing combi boiler and added stylish vertical radiators, upgrading the home’s heating system while improving its visual appeal. What was once an overlooked garage has been converted into a practical space ready for their brand new kitchen to be fitted.
