A yearning for a modern kitchen sparked the renovation journey for this charming cottage. The homeowners, long-time admirers of our design expertise, approached us with a vision for a sleek and functional space perfect for entertaining.
Our initial design proposed a large, open-plan kitchen achieved through a substantial extension. However, through collaborative discussions, we recognised the potential to create a stunning kitchen within the existing footprint. The key? Strategic space optimisation.
By opting for a cleverly designed L-shaped layout, we maximised countertop space and integrated a spacious central island with seating – a haven for the homeowner’s culinary creations and future gatherings. Modern, low-maintenance materials complemented the desired aesthetic, ensuring a space that’s both beautiful and easy to maintain.
