Designing a compact bathroom is all about balancing both style and practicality. Every fixture needs to earn its place while ensuring the room still feels open and easy to use. Working closely with the homeowners, our designers carefully planned the layout to include a generous shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail, creating a space that offers all the comforts of a much larger ensuite.
Contemporary Design That Feels Light and Spacious
The homeowners chose a modern colour palette that helps the room feel calm and inviting. Large-format Villeroy & Boch tiles in Aberdeen Opal Grey line the walls, while darker Aberdeen Slate Grey floor tiles add contrast and ground the design. Using larger tiles with minimal grout lines helps the room feel more spacious, while the soft grey tones reflect natural light around the space.
Matt black fittings throughout, including the shower, basin tap, towel rail and accessories, introduce a contemporary edge and create a striking contrast against the lighter finishes.

Every product was selected with the size of the room in mind. A Kudos bifold shower door provides comfortable access without taking up unnecessary floor space, while the compact Villeroy & Boch sanitaryware keeps the layout feeling open and uncluttered.
Although the room is modest in size, it includes everything guests need for a comfortable stay, from a spacious shower and practical basin to quality fittings that will stand up to everyday use for years to come.
