FAQ's

Do Adamsons offer a warranty on your construction work?

Yes Adamsons guarantee the structural stability of the foundations; floor construction; wall construction; openings formed; roof construction and UPVC windows together with the double glazed units for a period of 5 years.

Adamsons are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction long after the project is completed. We consider our customers are customers for life and therefore offer lifetime support and assistance for issues which may arise beyond the 5 year period.

Do you offer a post renovation service, such as touch-ups or repairs?

Yes, Adamsons offer an extensive aftercare service to address any touch-ups or repairs that may be needed after the project is completed. Our goal is to ensure that your newly renovated space remains in pristine condition for years to come. Simply contact our designated Aftercare team, and we’ll schedule a time to address any issues promptly.

What kind of cover do I have for my appliances and sanitary ware?

When the project is complete and the final invoice paid, Adamsons send our customers a pack containing details of individual appliance & sanitary ware warranty periods. Our Aftercare Team are here to assist you, whether inside the warranty period or not, for any issues which may arise.

How do I contact a manufacturer about an issue?

Adamsons only install top quality products. We have excellent relationships with our suppliers and are Master Partners for many high end brands within the kitchen and bathroom industry. This enables us to contact our suppliers directly on behalf of our customers where necessary and resolve any issues regardless of whether a product is within warranty.

Do you decorate?

We do not currently offer a painting or decorating service.

What are your payment terms?

Payment terms will be advised on your written quotation. Usually, this includes a deposit payment taken with your order and details of the further breakdown of payments required before and/or after the work is completed.

Can you provide references from work completed for other customers?

We have many happy customers who have left us testimonials – you can read some of them by clicking here

Will you provide a full proposal in writing?

Yes, once one of our Architectural Designers has been to see you and carried out a design consultation, you will be provided with a written proposal. This quote may be liable to change once final choices on products and designs are made but will give you a good idea of what your project will cost.

Where are your products manufactured?

Each supplier manufactures their own products, so this will vary depending on the kitchen you choose. Beckermann Küchen kitchens are manufactured at their site in Cappeln, Germany. Masterclass kitchens are manufactured in Wales and Daval kitchens are produced in Yorkshire.

What will happen to my old kitchen?

If you want to keep your old kitchen to sell we will remove it very carefully to try and avoid any damage. We don’t store them in our warehouse so it would be up to you to find somewhere suitable to store it. If not, we will remove and dispose of your old kitchen responsibly and efficiently.

How many people will be working onsite each day?

This differs depending on the project and the scope of work and can be from 1 person up to 10 or more. Construction work tends to require more people working on site at one time, whereas interior projects such as a bathroom remodel may just require a tiler of fitter on a particular day.

What time will the workmen start and finish on site?

Our workmen will usually start on site between 7.30 and 8am and finish around 3.30 to 4pm. They can work later if you’re happy for them to and will work on weekends if this has been pre-agreed with you.

What does fixed price mean?

We will provide you with a fully detailed, all-inclusive price so you know exactly where you and your budget stand right from the start. It also means that there will be no nasty shocks or hidden extras during the project.

What happens if there is a problem?

Your dedicated installations manager will help to resolve any unforeseen issues that might arise during your project. In the unlikely event you experience any issues after the project is complete, we offer an unrivalled aftercare service which you can find out more about by clicking here.

Who will be my main point of contact during the project?

During the design phase of the project you will be guided through the process by the Architectural Designer who carried out your Design Consultation. Once the construction and fitting side of the project is underway, your main contact will be your dedicated installations manager who will be in touch regularly and be able to help with any queries.

Do you offer finance?

This is not something we offer at this point unfortunately.

Do you only fit kitchens and bathrooms?

We also build extensions, garage and loft conversions and create bedrooms, wet rooms and sunrooms.

Do you project manage?

We manage the whole project for you from start to finish and you will have a dedicated installations manager who will guide you through the process and be on hand to answer any questions you may have. Everything is handled by our in-house team so no liaising with builders or organising plumbers, simply relax and let us take care of everything for you.

Which areas do you cover?

Our expert teams cover Greater Manchester and Cheshire. We’ve completed over 5,000 projects across these regions and have strong connections with local and national suppliers of all of our bathroom, bedroom and kitchen products. You can view some of the areas we’ve covered over on ‘Our Work’ page.

Do you use your own workforce or subcontractors?

We use our own Adamson’s workforce and highly skilled experienced subcontractors when required. All subcontractors carry ID cards, so you know they’re working with us.

Do I need to book an appointment to visit the showroom?

There’s no need to book an appointment, although you’re welcome to if you’d like to see a designer at a specific time. Otherwise, just pop in between 9am and 5pm during the week and 9am and 4pm on Saturdays for an informal chat and a look around the displays.

Do you have a showroom?

We have a state of the art showroom, over 3,300 square feet, displaying the latest in kitchen, bathroom and bedroom design. All displays are tastefully styled as if they were in a home, so it is easy to visualise how products would look in your own space. We carry a wide range of samples from worktops and taps to floor and wall tiles and everything in between. Pop in to fuel your imagination (and for a brew and a chat!)

Are you insured?

Yes. We have public liability insurance and are a Kitchen Bathrooms and Bedroom Specialists Association (KBSA) approved retailer. This means you can have complete confidence in the quality of the products we supply and our service.

What appliances do you supply?

We supply Neff appliances and have gained 5 Star Master Partner status meaning we are one of their top suppliers in the country. This means that we can offer you unparalleled product knowledge and you can trust us to find the appliances to best suit your needs. Click here to see why we would always recommend Neff.

What make are the kitchens you fit?

We supply kitchens from German company, Beckermann Küchen and British company, Masterclass. You can see displays and samples from all three manufacturers in our showroom. We work closely with all our suppliers to maintain great relationships and we attend various training courses to keep up to date with the latest products and innovations.

How much disruption will be caused?

Why do building inspections need to be carried out?

All building work needs to comply with a set of Building Regulations. This ensures that the correct materials are used in the correct method which means that the building is safe to be used. An inspector visits the project at specific times to inspect foundations and to carry out a pre-plaster inspection and a completion inspection. They can also call in at any point throughout the project just to check everything is to regulation.
